Welcome to our homepage!
The Continental Parkhotel is a historic hotel built between 1870 and 1906 by two remarkable families of hoteliers: the Hirth-Wyss family who founded the hotel and the Helmsauer family who extended the hotel complex.
My great-grandfather purchased The Continental from Mr. Helmsauer in 1912, and provided unsurpassed service and facilities for our guests.  This tradition was continued by my grand-parents and parents.
Between 2006 and 2010, the Continental Parkhotel underwent extensive renovation and is now listed in the catalogue of cultural heritage.  These changes reflect our high standards in hotel comfort and our desire to retain the splendor of the original hotel.
Our mission is to always care for your overall well-being and to continue to invest in new projects to make your stay even more memorable and enjoyable.
